World Social Worker’s Day

World Social Worker’s Day is celebrated annually on the third Tuesday of March. This special day recognizes the dedication and caring of all social workers. We’re excited to share this special day with our dialysis and transplant social workers, who mean so much to us. These healthcare heroes are an essential part of our kidney care healthcare team. They provide assistance throughout our CKD journey. They help us in so many ways, including offering guidance in adjusting to all of the changes we are experiencing, navigating all aspects the healthcare system, managing costs and finances. They do all of this while also providing emotional support along the way. Here are some great articles, podcasts and Hope Week presentations by and featuring kidney care social workers. Take a moment to read, listen and watch.
