Not all dietary needs of those with kidney disease are the same. Therefore, it can be difficult to learn everything about cooking to satisfy your own specific dietary requirements. John Vito, a chef, restaurateur, and a kidney transplant recipient, was on dialysis for several years. He talks with Lori about his new cookbook Cooking for your Kidneys, and offers tips on how you can prepare your own tasty low-sodium meals.
