When diagnosed at age 8, Heather Powell did not have a lot of treatment options and many were still in the testing phase. Now, after growing up with kidney disease Heather has found herself re-learning the treatment options available to her. Heather is living proof that you don’t have to give up quality of life and that much can be accomplished with a positive attitude.
