Week of December 12
Policing Kidney Disease
Welcome to KidneyTalk with your co-hosts Lori Hartwell and Stephen Furst.
This week’s guest on KidneyTalk is Donald England, a full-time, on-the-beat
police officer who is also a kidney patient. With an abdomen full of peritoneal
dialysis fluid (he uses the CCPD cycler at night), Don patrols the streets of
Kokomo, IN, keeping its citizens safe. Don shares his story of living a
successful life, including managing kidney disease.
Tune in and listen as Don talks with Lori and Stephen about his work as an
active duty officer (he will be featured in an upcoming show on the FBI Files)
and some of the important things kidney disease has taught him. You will be
inspired by Don’s honesty, openness, and attitude about life!
